The Bear Valley Water District (BVWD) provides sanitary sewer services to the
community of Bear Valley which is in Alpine County, California. It also serves the
Lake Alpine campgrounds and the Bear Valley Mountain Resort ski area.
The community is largely a resort community with both Summer and Winter
recreational uses. Currently, there are approximately 544 residential
customers and 17 commercial accounts.
